How can I handle pending payments?

In Android, Adapty can return an error like this:
Adapty Error {"adaptyCode": "pendingPurchase", "code": 121612016, "localizedDescription": "Purchase: PENDING_PURCHASE"}
How do I know when and if the payment is successful?
